French 7" Sleeves

It's funny how a lot of 7" vinyl singles from France have a slightly different sleeve design than those from other countries. Have a look at these singles I just added to my collection and compare the French sleeves (to the right) with their German or UK counterparts (on the left). The main difference is the placing of the titles which on the french sleeves are written more clearly, as if the french wouldn't be able to read them unless they are clearly written horizontally across the top part of the sleeve. It really makes you wonder how they came up with the idea to do that..

Maybe they just wanted to do something nice for obsessive collectors like myself.
